This is the Daydreamer Project (daydreamerproject.com), a place of work, recruitment and dreams, but also a web-based job-portal service. Your use of this website is subject to the following terms and conditions, which you are deemed to accept each time you use this website.

 

The Daydreamer Project is part of Daydreamer Ltd and trading as Daydreamer Project Ltd. Daydreamer Project is an online job board business that operates an online job portal to match candidates with companies and offer an overall recruitment solution to both candidates and recruiters alike.

 

When you submit information to Daydreamer Project, your information will also be shared with internal partner organisations under the Daydreamer Ltd brand, which will also use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  Daydreamer Ltd will remain responsible for the management and security of jointly used Personal Information that you submit to Daydreamer Project. We endeavour to ensure that the information that you submit to us remains private, and that it is used only for the purposes described below. We aim to provide a safe and secure experience for all of our users.

    • This policy applies to information we collect or use on sites and applications owned or controlled by Daydreamer Project Worldwide, Inc. or its affiliated companies (“Daydreamer”). Affiliated companies are entities that control, are controlled by or are under common control with Daydreamer Project Worldwide, Inc.
    • We link to other websites over which we have no control. Daydreamer Project is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other websites. You may wish to review the privacy policies of those sites so you can understand how they collect, use, and share your information.

    • This Privacy Policy covers treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on the Daydreamer Project website, register with the Daydreamer Project, upload a CV, set up a job alert with the Daydreamer Project or apply for a job via the Daydreamer Project site. This policy does not apply to companies that the Daydreamer Project does not own or control, or to people that the Daydreamer Project does not employ.

 

  1. How do we Collect information from you?
    • We collect and use your Personal Information in accordance with this our Privacy Policy. The majority of the Personal Information you provide to us freely when you give us your CV, job cover letter to an application and complete any more relevant screening questions as part of the application process.

 

  1. What Personal Information do we collect?
    • Personal Information we collect about you may include the following:
      • General identification and contact information: your name; address; email; IP address; telephone details; gender; marital status; family status; date and place of birth; physical attributes including photos
      • Other sensitive information: trade union membership, religious beliefs, political opinions or racial or ethical origin, and criminal record.
      • Information enabling us to provide products and services: age, location, whether or not you hold a driving licence that enable identification of job search (for example, post code or job role)
      • Marketing preferences: enter a contest or prize draw or other sales promotion, or respond to a voluntary customer satisfaction survey
      • Statistical information: aggregate statistical information about site visitors and users for internal use and for other lawful purposes e.g. Salary averages. We provide this information to customers, advertisers, suppliers and other reputable third parties. Where we provide such information, we will provide this in an anonymous format and not include any Personal Information.
      • Information from Apps: submit comments to the Site, participate in message boards, blogs, send us emails or any other user generated content facility
      • We may collect information about you from publicly-available websites. We may use this information to create a profile, even if you do not have an account with us or append it to an existing profile. You will have the opportunity to claim collected information relating to you and to change its visibility setting or remove the information. However, we cannot guarantee that we will not later collect from publicly-available websites other information that pertains to you.

  1. What legal basis do we rely on to process your Personal Information?
    • Consent: On some occasions, the Daydreamer Project processes your data with your consent. For example, we rely on consent when we send promotional material or when you link your Daydreamer Project account to your Social Network account. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Where consent is the only legal basis for processing, we will cease to process data after consent is withdrawn.

    • Information you post in public areas of Daydreamer sites or applications or make visible in the CV and profile database may be accessed, used, and stored by others around the world, including those in countries that might not have legislation that guarantees adequate protection of personal information as defined by your country of residence. While Daydreamer takes measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized access or inappropriate use, Daydreamer does not control these third parties and we are not responsible for their use of information you give to us. Accordingly, you should not post sensitive information, personality profiles, or any other information you would not want made public, to any Daydreamer site or application or to a public website.
    • Our services include the display of personalized products, content, and advertising relating to your career experience and interests online. We use data we have about you to determine whether you might be interested in the opportunities, products or services of a particular third party. We show you targeted ads online. These ads are targeted based on information we collect about you and information about you we acquire from third parties.

 

  1. Disclosure of personal information
    • We do not disclose information about your individual visits to the Daydreamer Project site, or personal information that you provide, such as your name and personal contact details unless you have given us your permission, or we believe that the law requires it.
    • We may record and share aggregated information with our clients. Additionally, if you input your information on a co-branded registration page or job application page, e.g. a Daydreamer Project client-company registration page then the information that you give becomes the property of both Daydreamer Project and the client. The Daydreamer Project is not responsible for the information that the client receives.
      • PLEASE NOTE: Your current employer may be a customer of Daydreamer Project, or a client of one of our customers. Daydreamer Project cannot restrict the customers who access profiles on our database and cannot be held responsible for any eventuality.

 

  1. How We Store Information
    • Because managing your career is a life-long process, we retain all the information we gather about you in an effort to make repeat use of our sites more efficient, practical and relevant until you change or remove your personal information as described below. You may access, review, correct, update, change or delete your CV or profile at any time. Sign in to your account, go to your CV or profile, and make the desired changes. If you do not have an account, please contact us.
    • Access to or correction, update, or deletion of your personal information may be denied or limited by Daydreamer if it would violate another person’s rights and/or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. If you wish to delete your account information altogether, please contact us. We will send you an email to confirm that your personal information has been deleted (save for an archival copy which is not accessible by you or third parties on the Internet). The archival copy is retained only for as long as needed for audit and record purposes. We will also keep logs and information that may relate to your activity on the site.
    • We will respond to information access requests without undue delay of receipt and in any event within 30 days. If we require additional time to provide access to your information, we will acknowledge receipt of your request within 30 days and promptly supplement our response within the time period required by applicable law.
    • If you do not sign into your account or interact with our services, including continuing to receive emails from us, for a significant period of time, your account will expire and be scheduled for removal from our site. Expired accounts are deleted and archived on a periodic basis. Our current account expiration period is approximately 36 months; we may extend or reduce this period in order to adjust to changing hiring patterns. If your account contains a CV, you will receive an email from us before we delete your CV in this manner.

    • We may send personally identifiable information about you to other clients when:
      • we have your consent to share the information;
      • we need to share your information to provide the service you have requested;
      • we need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of the Daydreamer Project to provide a product or service to you. (Unless otherwise stated, these companies do not have the right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us and you); we respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process;

    • You are responsible for keeping your username and password secret.
    • Monster takes appropriate measures to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, the Internet is an open system and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You can find additional information on conducting a safe job search in our Security Centre. You should be aware that CVs and profiles may be monitored by your current employer.
    • When you place an order online at Monster, your credit card information is encrypted with industry standard encryption.

    • Daydreamer Project is not intended for, nor do we knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 16.

 

  1. Social Media and Content Sharing
    • Social Media Widgets: Our site includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, such as the Share This button. These features may collect your IP address and the page on our site you are visiting and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
    • Referrals: If you choose to use our service to share site content with a friend, we will ask you for your friend’s name, email address and additional supporting information. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Daydreamer Worldwide, Inc. also stores this information for the purpose of future targeted emails in-line with any relevant additional information provided.
